I&FC employee dies after pole falls on him at Watlab, Sopore | KNO

Sopore, Feb 27 (KNO): An employee of Irrigation and Flood Control (I&FC) department died after an electric pole fell on him at Watlab area of Sopore in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, officials said here on Monday late evening. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an I&FC employee was critically injured after an electric pole fell on him while he was repairing a genset. He was rushed to the sub-district hospital, Sopore where doctors declared him dead. The deceased was identified as Tanveer Ahmed Bhat (30) son of Ghulam Hassan Bhat of Darpora Delina in Baramulla. Meanwhile, police have taken the cognizance of the incident, while investigation was taken up—(KNO)
